As a church, we believe that the Christian life is best lived in community. We are not meant to live in isolation, which is why belonging together and living out the “one anothers” of Scripture is essential to the life of the church and our witness to the world.

OUR CONGREGATION - Our congregation is a wonderful intergenerational mix of the saints with over 80 children and youth worshipping alongside younger and older families, singles, retirees, and college students. Our body is passionate for rich Biblical teaching and believes that the means of grace are essential for discipleship and growing our relationship with the Lord. A mix of blue collar and white collar workers attend CVPC.

GIFTS - Our congregation is blessed with a wealth of gifts - music, teaching, cooking, construction, administration, etc. - and is generous in blessing others. The Session believes that each particular person gathered on any given Sunday is an essential part of our worship together. Therefore, we seek to identify, encourage, and bring to bear the gifts with which the Spirit has blessed us. This intentionality is clearly seen in our music worship.

OUTREACH - CVPC endeavors to offer a warm and welcoming reception and engagement upon entering the church, and through regular outreach events in the community and the recently established food network that provides monthly food boxes to those in need. A growing understanding of God’s grace and love compels us to obey the call of Christ and serve as a conduit of His grace and love to others.
